Hi! Nice to meet you.
Alexandra Trier was born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
From a young age, she enjoyed drawing “design mockups” using home restoration scraps, cardboard, and lots of duct tape. At age 10, she was gifted her first sewing machine and began her first design project, turning samples of upholstery into clothing. Her personal hero is her late grandfather, a self-taught engineer who taught her to view materials beyond their intended purpose.
Alexandra’s unique style sensibility and scientific background allows her to seek and analyze beauty in the most unexpected places. She draws regular inspiration from initiatives that challenge conventional formalities and believes the future of design rests on normalizing sustainable alternative materials. She received her Bachelors from Lawrence University in Biology with a minor focused on Anthropology and resides in Madison, Wisconsin where she provides personal wardrobe consultation and commercial product styling.
